When
you're ready to get serious about RC racing, you'll need to build a track
or two for you and your buddies.
Building a track is simple. All you need is some 1/2" PVC pipe, a few
elbow joints and T-joints, and a saw or PVC pipe cutter. Any big hardware
store can hook you up. After that, it's all about designing your track.
Just remember to keep it simple. Think in terms of 10-foot and 5-foot walls
when possible, since PVC comes in 10-foot pieces.
Spend your time cutting sick turns, not PVC pipes!
Finally, you'll need a large, clean surface for your track. A big linoleum
floor, a blacktop parking lot, even your garage. If the floor isn't spiffy
clean, you may need to get your broom on.
Use these standard track layouts to get started. Then design your own!
